LF 1 Player: Gicker's D&D 4e Campaign [CLOSED]

Hi all,

I am looking for 1 more player, preferably who would play a striker, and who is an active poster on these forums, posting at least once a day, most days.

The system is D&D 4e, campaign Forgotten Realms, you should have a D&D insider account for the character builder as we're using iplay4e.com for our character sheets.

Let me know if you're interested... the sooner the better as we're at a stage in the campaign where I could add a new charatcer easily.

Well I know you said you wanted an active poster to these boards, and I'm certainly not that that (just created my account a couple of minutes ago), but I hope you'll give me a shot.

I'm in my 40's, with more years of D&D under my belt than I care to consider. Every version through to 4E as a player and DM, both face to face and (for many years) in a number of long-running 3.5 PbP campaigns on the Woldian Games site. In those games I posted at least daily, often far more. And I like to think my posts were pretty good; I always tried to respond to hooks in the DM's and other players' posts, and keep my posts articulate and entertaining.

I stopped playing PbP a couple of years back, when I went over to 4E and my PbP site did not. I've been keeping half an eye out for a decent 4E PbP site ever since.

I know my Forgotten Realms pretty well, from playing in that setting and from an ever-growing pile of Salvatore novels. And I'm more than happy to brush up on any knowledge gaps.

I have a melee striker ready, Renik Dacour, a two weapon human ranger, more of an urbanite than a woodsman, with more than a hint of the scoundrel about him. Currently built to 5th level, with 23 levels of magical gear, but he's easily adjusted to wherever you'd want him to start. I'm happy to create something else too, if you think a ranged striker might fit the bill better. I have an Insider account, and am more than happy to find an excuse to play about in the Character Builder some more

I've not added a background for him yet, I thought I'd wait and discuss with you first what fits the campaign best (assuming you're willing to take a chance on me )

Current party consists of: halfing rogue, orc fighter, drow paladin, deva cleric and eladrin wizard. We are level 3, almost level 4.
