Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperors will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defense forces, the ever-vigilant Inquistion and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse.
To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. This is a tale from those times. Forget the promise progress and understanding, for in the dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
And one such god is called Crusader.
Welcome. Should you fill out the form below, you forfeit your life and all it entails. You will be trust in a dark corner of the vastness of space and will not be expected to return. An explanation of the terms is added for your convenience.
Terms of agreement:
You are required to have a basic understanding of the Warhammer 40k universe.
You are required to have a copy of the Warhammer 40k - Rogue Trader core rulebook.
You are required to understand Crusader's games are gloves off lethal for player characters. Expect no mercy, for you will be given none. A single mistake can cost the life of yourself, the other characters and the ship. At this event, referred to as 'total party kill', you have lost the game. Should any ship of the rogue trader fleet survive, a new crew may emerge from it. All players who lose a character may make a new character, starting at the basic level, and continue playing. Expect this to happen.
You are required to be active in the game. Daily posts are expected on every day except Sunday. If this becomes impossible during the game, request a leave of absence. The GM will take over your character for the duration. Failure to request leave repeatedly is grounds for removal from the campaign. We will not wait for you.
You are required to understand that mistrust between player characters can be expected for a variety of reasons. Infighting can happen. This is not an excuse to start killing your fellow player characters on a whim. However, for a variety of reasons (such possession, betrayal, heresy, insanity, mutation, etc), in-party combat is the recommended course of action. Expect this to result in death. No grudges may be held when your new character appears.
You are required to understand that abuse of out of character knowledge (aka meta gaming) is grounds for your character exiting an airlock... without a void suit.
You are required to have fun within the constraints of the above rules.
Please fill out the following:
